Our West Palm Beach Hospital Policies
At Healing Arts Veterinary Center, we aim to provide high-quality care in a timely and respectful manner. Please review our policies below to help us serve you and your pet more efficiently.
Appointment Policy
To ensure adequate time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment.
- Emergency cases always receive top priority, which may occasionally cause short delays. We appreciate your patience.
- Walk-ins are accepted when possible, but may involve a brief wait depending on our schedule.
Drop-Off Appointments
For your convenience, we offer “drop-off” appointments:
- You may bring your pet at a time that works for you (typically in the morning).
- Your pet will stay with us for a few hours or the day.
- A veterinarian will examine your pet between scheduled appointments or during designated exam slots.
- We’ll call you after the exam to discuss findings and provide discharge instructions.
Appointment & Reservation Confirmation
- Appointments must be confirmed or canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
- Boarding reservations must be confirmed at least 7 days in advance during holidays, and require a credit card on file.
Pet Safety & Vaccination Requirements
- All pets must be up to date on vaccinations prior to their visit or stay.
- For safety, all animals must be leashed or in a secure carrier while in the waiting room.
- Even calm pets may feel nervous in a new environment, so secure handling is essential.
Cancellation Fees
Late cancellations or missed appointments will incur the following fees:
- $25 per missed appointment or grooming
- One night’s boarding fee per missed reservation

If your pet experiences a serious illness or injury, we offer interest-free financing through CareCredit.
